Wynd Extends Availability of Most Popular WyndTell Features, Including TTY and More

Now Available For Users of T-Mobile, AOL, WebLink, and SkyTel Services, The WyndPower™ Pack Delivers Essential Services for People who are Deaf

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – April 23, 2003—Wynd Communications (a GoAmerica, Inc. company; NASDAQ: GOAM) today introduced the WyndPower™ pack, a standalone collection of wireless services, tailored for wireless users who are deaf or hard of hearing. These services, included for free or at a discount to WyndTell™ and Deafwireless™ users, can now be added to other popular wireless services for a low monthly fee for unlimited use.

The WyndPower pack will initially be available to users of the T-Mobile Sidekick, Motorola P935, the AOL Communicator, and RIM devices on selected wireless networks.

“Our WyndTell and Deafwireless customers are already enjoying the benefits of being ‘WyndPowered’ by these unique services,” said Dan Luis, president and CEO for Wynd Communications. “However, customers on other wireless services have expressed a strong interest in the ability to contact a TTY user or reach AAA from their devices. The WyndPower pack makes this possible.”

Danger, Inc., developer of the hiptop solution, sold as the T-Mobile Sidekick applauded the availability of these new communication services.

“Danger designs its wireless solutions with customers’ varied communication needs in mind,” said Hank Nothhaft, CEO of Danger, Inc. “The WyndPower pack is a perfect complement to the T-Mobile Sidekick, and broadens its appeal among people who are deaf. We’re pleased to be working with Wynd, and we share its commitment to the deaf community.”

WyndPower Demonstrations and More
Wynd will demonstrate the WyndPower pack on color prototypes of the T-Mobile Sidekick in the Deafwireless Superstore booth at Deafworldwide, a regional trade event for people who are deaf in Washington DC on April 26th. During the show, customers can also enter to win a color T-Mobile Sidekick (when commercially available) at the Deafwireless Superstore booth.

“The T-Mobile Sidekick—supercharged with the WyndPower pack—provides a new level of communication access for people who are deaf,” added Luis.

Included Services Designed for Deaf Users
Wynd assembled the WyndPower pack with the Deaf Community in mind, including some of the features WyndTell and Deafwireless users have found most valuable. These include:

TTY Messaging: Incorporating Wynd’s proprietary InstantTTY™ and TTYreply™ services, the WyndPower pack provides the fastest, most cost-effective way to send a message to a TTY user and get an immediate response. The customer can simply type in the user’s TTY number and send a message of any length. The TTY user then receives that message directly on their TTY. If TTYreply is selected, the TTY user can send an immediate response to the wireless user, right from the TTY. Likewise, TTY users can send a message to the WyndPower user from any TTY.

Voice-To-Text messaging: Hearing people can contact WyndPower users through this operator-assisted message service. They dial a toll-free number, provide the user’s wireless address, and the message to be sent. The operator then delivers the message to the WyndPower user.

AAA Access: WyndPower users who are also AAA Auto Club members can summon AAA Emergency Roadside Service directly from their wireless device.

InSight Cinema Movie Information: Formerly Tripod Open Captioned Films, InSight Cinema is the largest provider of open-captioned films in the U. S. WyndPower users can get information about open-captioned movies playing in their local area, delivered directly to their wireless device.

The WyndPower pack is compatible with a variety of wireless devices operating on Motient, SkyTel, WebLink Wireless, T-Mobile, and Cingular Wireless Data networks.
