Washington, DC 20002
Washington, DC. - Boundless Communications was founded by Drew
Gutches, who is deaf, on January 16, 2002, to sell innovative wireless
services designed for
people who are deaf. Two years later, Boundless Communications is still here,
having grown to accommodate the demands of its target market. One
sign of Boundless Communications' expansion is the fact that
this business now has four employees on its payroll, along with partnering
with MSSD's internship program in providing the opportunity to
two of MSSD's high
school students to gain on-the-job experience that will prepare them for
future employment.
Boundless Communications' growth has not been limited only to staffing
increases. Last October, Boundless Communications had the opportunity
to expand their services
by opening a kiosk at Gallaudet University's bookstore to provide
students and employees on campus with access to the latest WyndTell and T-Mobile
products. Due to the rapid growth of Boundless Communications' business,
the main office has been renovated this winter to put in additional
space for a new
conference room, an area for the shipping department, a repair center, and
a staff lounge.
Boundless Communications has recently started offering more than
1,000 products which are specially designed to assist the deaf and
hard of hearing in their
daily activities. Examples of these products Include TTY devices, games,
assistive devices, alerting systems, fire alarms, and alarm clocks.
We have recently expanded
our product offerings to include well-known brands such as Sonic Alert, Ameriphone,
Ultratec, and Krown.
To show our appreciation to our customers who have made our growth possible,
Boundless Communications is pleased to announce that there will be an Open
House on Wednesday, February 11, 2004 to celebrate our two years of success,
and we invite you to celebrate with us too!
Please come meet our staff, who will be happy to give you guided tours of
our newly expanded office and our brand new showroom, and get the opportunity
to
learn who we are! In addition to a tour of our office, we will also have
mini booths that showcase artwork by deaf artists,
DCAD, and other organizations. There will also be video relay kiosks which
will allow you to connect directly with Wynd Communications
customer support staff who can provide support for your device or answer
any questions you may have about your service with Wynd.
Refreshments will also be provided, including Subway subs for lunch and Mexican
food from 5 to 7 pm.
To celebrate Boundless Communications' Open House, we are holding
a big sale! Visitors will be able to take 15% off on most our products
except wireless pagers and mobiles. Also, we will be offering WyndTell, Deafwireless,
and T-Mobile products with a package deal that includes a free one-year subscription
to CSD's SigNews newspaper! Do you have a broken RIM 950 or 850 pager? Been
thinking about Boundless Communications' repair service? Bring your broken
